A Gift to a Deserving Volunteer

Volunteers are the salt of the earth. Most work tirelessly with no regard for thanks or reward. But isn't it thrilling when someone does say "Thank you!"?

Art and Betty Garner are deserving volunteers! So much so, that the Black Hills Health & Education Center (BHHEC) in Hermosa, SD, have decided to 'gift' them with a free cruise on the eStore Music Cruise. Art and Betty retired in April of this year after volunteering their services for six years as the Plant and Business Managers at the BHHEC. Art is a retired dentist who wanted to keep serving after his retirement from dentistry. So he and Betty poured their time and their hearts into the BHHEC, bringing it up to its current high standard. The BHHEC Board of Directors, in gratitude for all their hard work, are going to be sending them on the cruise as a retirement gift in expression of their deep appreciate. On our last cruise, the Oklahoma Conference of SDA sent one of their retired teachers on our cruise. What a wonderful way to say "Thank you!"

The BHHEC offer a 3 week wellness program to guests from all over the United States and world. At present they have about 20 guests. They see miracles here each and every month.

Southern Union Women's Convention

The eStore had an exhibit booth at the recent Southern Union Women's Convention held in Atlanta, GA. We talked with hundreds of ladies and distributed an equal number of Cruise brochures. Some of the ladies even talked about bringing their Women's ministry group from their local churches on the cruise. Great idea!

A Music Cruise Magazine is Being Designed

We are putting together a magazine! Yes, a Music Cruise Magazine, volume one, with articles, artist bios, advertisements, and more. If you are coming along on the 2009 Caribbean Cruise and wish to submit a cruise related story, article, picture, or even a recipe, send us an email with your thoughts and we may include your idea, or article, or picture in the magazine. No promises. But we are interested in hearing what you think would be good to have in the magazine. Leave a comment.

The Cruise Posters Have Arrived.

Our Cruise Poster has arrived and the look great! We are anxious to share these with churches across America. If you would like a personal copy for your office or if your church doesn't receive one in the mail this next month, give us a call at 404-806-7479.

Latest Confirmed Artists

We are so happy that along with Rudy Micelli we have two more confirmed artists. Angela Bryant-Brown has confirmed to come as one of our Invited Artists for the Music Cruise. Angela has been a part of Morning Song's National Christmas Tour for the past two years and will be joining us again for the 2008 Christmas Tour. You'll love her rich, Whitney Houston, vocal style, not to mention her personality. "She also hogs the treadmill". :-) Angela and husband Earl live in Alexandria, Virginia with their two lovely children, Roderick and Sydni.

Also, Kelly Mowrer has confirmed! Kelly has been a friend to all of us for about as long as we can remember. Her solo piano ministry has traveled the globe. But it is her sweet spirit that is one of her most enduring attributes. "The girl who smiles at the piano" Her ministry has touch many other artists' lives as well. She has accompanied Jaime, Steve, Jennifer, and Charles - just to name a few that are on the cruise. Kelly and her husband, Ted, live in Allentown, Pennsylvania, and operate a full-time music ministry. They have two sons, Jackson Graham and Alexander Murdock.
